Free €500 Support For International Students By The German Government

Different scholarship options that are available to Indian students are:

1. DAAD WISE Scholarship Program: 

Students doing Bachelors, Integrated or Dual programs from Indian universities are eligible for this program. They can apply in streams like Engineering, Mathematics, and Natural Sciences, etc. A wide variety of innovative courses plus DAAD scholarship has the popular internship programs for students available with them. A DAAD WISE scholar receives €750 per month for living expenses, €1,075 as a travel allowance, and health insurance.

2. Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung Scholarship

The scholarship focuses on international students, along with doctorate candidates. The scholarship invites applications from students who have completed their Bachelors/Masters in their own country and are looking for higher studies in Germany. The eligibility criterion includes an above-average academic record along with a deep interest in political topics.

Candidates who belong to developing countries are given preference. The scholarship reward depends on the study objective. It is like tuition fee reimbursement up to € 500 or a monthly stipend of € 1,100 for 3 years.

3. Heinrich Boll Scholarships

Those who have successfully cleared the university entrance qualification- this program is for those students. Students/candidates can choose any subject from their Masters or Ph.D. courses and study in Germany.

The scholarship reward for Masters Courses is of €850 per month plus includes additional individual allowances. It also covers tuition fees in a few cases. For Ph.D. studies, the amount is €1000 per month, with a €100 travel allowance per month.

4. Kofi Annan MBA Scholarships

The Kofi Annan scholarship is for leaders who belong to developing countries. It provides a 2 year Masters in Management (MIM) course or MBA education for a year. To apply for this scholarship, one must have a Bachelor’s degree with a strong academic record. It also includes- English proficiency, and afterward, one should contribute towards the growth of their own country.

Candidates receive full tuition fees for the courses i.e. €25,000 for MIM students and €43,500 for MBA students. The program includes visas, travel, housing, networking, and insurance.

5. ESMT Women’s Academic Scholarship 

Females applying for a full-time MBA course in the European School of Management and Technology are eligible for this program. This program invites applications from females all across the world whose GMAT score is more than 700. Students receive the scholarship award based on the essay they submit when applying.

The scholarship is up to € 15,000. The deadline/closing date for the program depends on the admission dates of the university/college. Candidates also must study the official website carefully before applying.

6. Goethe Goes Global Scholarships

The Goethe Goes Global Scholarship is a unique project for Master courses. Its main aim is to support the academic career of the students. 

Candidates will get to study at the Goethe University in Germany after getting selected. The eligibility criterion and closing date had to be read carefully on the website.

There are near about 20 scholarships available for international students. So, students who have completed their Bachelor’s degrees are eligible to apply. The University provides €1,000 per month as a scholarship reward until the end of the Master’s course.

7.  EMS Undergraduate Scholarship

The European Management School provides this scholarship to students/candidates who want a Bachelors’s degree. Candidates with an above-average academic record and social achievements from schools can apply for it. The aim here is to give an easy start to undergraduates for their professional careers. Students would receive leading business positions in Germany under this scholarship.

The benefits of the program entail a 50% discount on tuition fees. It also offers global exposure to the candidate that will develop the scholar’s personality.

8. WHU-Otto Beisheim School of Management, International Scholarships

WHU-Otto Beisheim School of Management comes under Germany’s leading business schools. Their scholarship program gets applications from international students to pursue an MBA. The talented and those who satisfy eligibility with a Bachelors’s degree can apply for it. The University takes one application per person and also need proof of English proficiency.

The value of the program is up to €10,000. The University provides certain subjects to students out of which they need to choose the subject they like.

9. Master Scholarships at University of Stuttgart

The scholarships at the University of Stuttgart are fully-funded. Students from developing countries can pursue who are interested in doing higher education in Germany. The program includes the field of Infrastructure Planning’ and Integrated Urbanism and Sustainable Design. However, it also requires the student to have an excellent and above-average academic record. Plus, closing dates for applications and eligibility criteria have to be kept in mind.

10. DLD Executive MBA Scholarship 

The Berlin School of Creative Leadership provides the DLD scholarship in association with a digital innovation conference. Under this program, candidates will get to study MBA in the Creative Leadership program. The program is for senior executives in the digital, media, technology, and advertising and entertainment fields. One winner will receive €23,000 tuition fee support, whereas 3 other finalists will get up to €10,000 for tuition support.
