Course Module

Requirements

The school leaving certificate of high school is needed to gain admission in the German medical universities. You may need to complete a course from Studienkolleg in Germany if the certificate is not equivalent to the Abitur. Indian students can join medical school immediately after high school. However they need to complete 1 year bridge course to fill the gap between school leaving certificate and Abitur or otherwise the 1st year of graduation needs to be completed. You must attain a minimum of 60% in high school to apply to the German medical universities. Results in the interview and grades of particular subjects are taken into consideration. By 15th July, your application must reach the hochschulstart.de to commence on a course in the winter semester. For a course in the summer semester, the last date is 15th of January. However deadlines may vary from one university to the other.

Documents Required

Attested copies of 10th, 12th and 1st Year BSc mark sheets are mandatory. 10 copies of photographs and the passport are necessary. Two letters of recommendations and statement of purpose are essential. You need to submit the school leaving certificate as well. The aspiring medical students must apply for the student visa.

Language Requirements

A1, A2 and B1, B2 levels of German are necessary for getting admitted in the universities and attaining a job. It is compulsory for getting a work permit. You also need to be proficient in English language to understand the lectures.
