What do you say if visa officer ask you - why did you prefer spring semester over fall semester? Why didn't you apply for fall?. Here is a spring 2015 visa experience on the question.

I was keep on practicing infront of mirror ..almost 100 times Then was arranging documents till night 2am and slept .Then i woke up at 4am and started practicing again..Then got ready and took the cab and reached the consulate at 6.15 am and i saw 5 persons standing in the queue. i thought whether its too early , Then stood in the queue and we were called inside the embassy.Did my security checkings and i was given a token ''B4'' and sat in the seat. After 5 mins i heard someone saying sorry i cant provide yu visa ..it was a family who applied for visitor visa..i was very tensed hearing it ..then it was my turn... Then the scene started....
Me: Very good morning Sir , How are you ?
Vo : Good morning , fine , thank you , how are you ? ( With strange face )
VO : Passport please .
Me : Here sir ..(Gave my passport)
Vo: Afzzal Why did you chose to go for Spring instead of fall ??
Me : ( i was very much suprised with the ques ) ..Sir , i was doing my courses that time ..so....( VO interrupted )
Vo: Even everyone are busy ..what special for you ?
Me: I was doing courses apart from my academics..but related to my field sir ...
Vo: What course ?
Me: Designing courses sir ..
Vo; ( Thinking and blinking )
Me; (I confirmed that i will get denied surely )
Vo; What's your GPA afzzal ?
Me; 6.39 sir
( Vo was typing for about 15 secs ) i thought he is typing his 214b form
Vo; Your visa has been approved
Me;( what??????? ) Thanks a lot Sir , you made my day.
