Hi everyone
I hope this doesn't violate any forum rules.
The university I work for - Hochschule Furtwangen University in the Black Forest region of Germany, is offering a free semester long preparation programme for any student who is eligible to study at a German uni. Our only pre-requisites are that you have a recognised qualification that allows you to study here, and your German ability is at the B1 level.
We are a technical university so most of our students are in the STEM field. Our prep programme - called 'PrepTec' - offers an intensive language component to get you to C1 level of fluency, mathematics and lab skills for the more subject specific language, and intercultural training and study skills to help you get started here.
There is no obligation to stay at our university once the course is over (although of course we'd love to have you).
The COVID situation has dramatically affected our usual recruitment channels, hence this post,
If this is something that sounds interesting to you, please contact me here or at the email given. Happy to help anyone who's interested or who knows someone who might be.
(Yes - there's Black Forest cake and German beer here!)
