The International Max Planck Research School (IMPRS) on Reactive Structure Analysis for Chemical Reactions is jointly organized by two Max Planck Institutes in Mülheim/Ruhr as well as the Universities of Bochum, Bonn and Duisburg-Essen, all located in Germany.
We invite applications for several
PhD / Doctoral Positions in Chemistry
to pursue projects in chemistry and physics with an emphasis on one of the following areas:
• Theoretical Chemistry
• Inorganic Chemistry
• Heterogeneous Catalysis
• Molecular Catalysis
Highly motivated early career researchers of any nationality are invited to apply.
All students accepted to this 3-year-PhD/doctoral-program will join one of our research groups. Each student receives supervision and mentoring and is guided in her/his research work by an advisory committee. The student’s laboratory work is supplemented by high-grade scientific courses. The working language is English.
The doctoral degree will be awarded by one of the partner universities.
